About the Software Developer Program
Designing, realizing, implementing, and maintaining: you will soon master all the steps required to successfully develop and integrate new software within a company. Whether you want to focus on smartphone apps, video games, or websites, various development techniques for different multimedia applications will be covered during the course.
What will you learn, among other things?
Various programming languages and the tools used to apply them.
Protection against viruses and hackers (cybersecurity).
Working according to a "program of requirements" (technical specifications).
Setting up a development environment.
Performing and implementing acceptance tests.
Maintenance and management of applications.
In addition, you will learn communication skills, such as identifying information needs and listening to the wishes and ideas of others. It will also be your task to explain the solution you have designed and how the program functions.
SPECIALIZATION
The Software Developer program at Technova College begins with a (short) joint introductory period where you get to know various disciplines. Afterward, you can choose to specialize as a Game Developer.
You will learn to draft and develop a game concept, as well as how to realize and program the design. There is plenty of focus on developing complete 2D and 3D games. These can be games for your smartphone, console, or desktop.
